Natacha Marrow is a French London based footwear designer i have always followed, her designs and creations are unique, exciting and slightly fetish inspired. Her shoes have been hand made and worn by the most A list celebrity fashion wearers both side of the atlantic. here is some images of her work....

Guy Bourdin - Fashion Footwear TOG, INSPIRATIONAL.
Bourdin was the first photographer to create a complex narrative, then snatch a moment — sensual, provocative, shocking, exotic, surrealistic, sometimes sinister — and simply associate it with a fashion item. The narratives were strange and mysterious, sometimes full of violence, sexuality, and surrealism.
An editor of Vogue magazine introduced Bourdin to shoe designer Charles Jourdan, who became his patron, and Bourdin shot Jourdan's ad campaigns between 1967 and 1981. His quirky anthropomorphic compositions, intricate mise en scene ads were greatly recognized and always greatly anticipated by the media.
Bourdin was one of the best known photographers of fashion and advertising of the second half of the 20th century. He shared Helmut Newton's taste for controversy and stylization, but Bourdin's formal daring and the narrative power of his images exceeded the bounds of conventional advertising photography. Shattering expectations and questioning boundaries, he set the stage for a new kind of fashion photography.[1] Bourdin worked for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, and shot ad campaigns for Chanel, Issey Miyake, Emanuel Ungaro, Gianni Versace,Loewe, Pentax and Bloomingdale's.[5]
Since his death, Guy Bourdin has been hailed as one of the greatest fashion photographers of all time, and his son Samuel Bourdin released a book with the finest prints of his father's work, called "Exhibit A" in 2001 (co-edited with Fernando Delgado). His first retrospective exhibition was held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London 2003, and then toured the National gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, and Jeu de Paume in Paris

Cleo B Spring/Summer 2012 collection British shoe designer Cleo B’s latest collection is taking it back the days of early hip hop, when music was a way of life and trickled into all you did, like a soundtrack to your days. At first glance, you could well mistake the names for a roll call of hip hops finest moments, ‘Jam Master Jay’, ‘Sugarhill’, ‘Homeboy’, ‘Tricky’. Well, think of this collection as homage to all things hip hop – cassette tapes, boom boxes and of course, Run DMC. The trios first single, ‘It’s like that/ Sucker MCs’, now a classic anthem, was the inspirational centre piece for the collection.
The vibrant rainbow of colours throughout this collection is reminiscent of hip hops golden years and the in thing was to be as outrageous as you wanted. Intense hues, subtle detailing and a sexy, yet elegant feel, the designer’s ethos of ‘conveying uniqueness elegantly and creatively’ is strongly present. Standout pieces like the ‘Boom’ sandal, with metallic snakeskin and strap detail, and the ‘Sucker MCs’ custom made gold cassette tape heels are craaaazy! Team any of the pieces with the cassette tape pouch or wallet and you are good to go. Shoe clips (available in gold cassette, silk ruffle or crystal) are versatile enough to be worn with either your favourite heels or box fresh trainers. Love it. For a hip hop loving sneaker freak, like myself, S/S 12 is one of my favourite collections yet.

Mikio Sakabe
I think key to bringing in these anime/mange/pop-culture references into fashion is to keep them as surreal and uncomfortable as possible without resorting to either overt sexualization or shock value. If you are careful, as Mikio Sakabe has been, it can be an opportunity to let pop-culture tell us something about the way the human body can be depicted, which is obviously a key role that fashion has to play in society. I suppose you could quite easily dismiss it as cosplay, but there is a point to be made here and the current wave of young Japanese designers seem to be very focused on making it.
On more practical matters there are an impressive number of stockists out there for past and future collections and Fake Tokyo ship internationally if you are after the current collection themed on the iconography of fast food. Regardless of your personal fashion persuasion Mikio Sakabe has to be worth your time, even if only for the showmanship of it all.

Browsing shoes as usual and i came across one of my favourite designers Charlotte Olympia's sneak peek of her new S/S 12 Collection.
love all her play with colour and shape, all i can say is i want them now and cant wait for them to be released in store and online.
